Gambia to Host Zone II Beach Volleyball Championship

The Gambia will host the eight nation Zone II Beach Volley ball championship in September.

The tournament will be staged from September 6th to 10th in Banjul, with Cape Verde, Sierra Leone, Mali, Guinea, Mauritania, Guinea Bissau, Senegal and host Gambia expected to take part in championship to be competed in both male and female categories.

Arranged and funded by the Union of Africa Olympic Committee – Zone II (ZANOCA), the event will be managed by the Gambia Volleyball Federation under the supervision of Gambia National Olympic Committee.

The Volleyball Federation has already appointed Sgt Lamin F. Bargie as the head coach to be assisted by Lamin Fatty.
