Norwich sends Ebou Adams out for first team action

Championship club Norwich City have sent out Gambian midfielder Ebrima ‘Ebou’ Adams out on loan League One side Shrewsbury Town, The Standard can report.

Adams, who is sent out on loan until January 2018 and was signed from non-league Dartford FC in February 2016, will be making his second loan move from Carrow Road, having had a brief three-game stint with Braintree Town last season and scoring six in 29 games in total on his return to the Canaries in the last campaign.

Turkish giants Fenerbahçe table Omar Colley bid

Turkish Süper Lig giants Fenerbahçe have tabled a €3M bid for Gambia and KRC Genk defender Omar Colley, it has been revealed.

The 24-year-old, who joined Belgian side Genk last summer from Swedish club Djurgården IF, has been a reported target for teams around Europe with Fenerbahçe the latest to express their interest.

Manneh scores first Crew goal, earn Team of Week spot

Gambian winger Kekuta Manneh finally opened his Columbus Crew scoring account in the team’s 4-1 home win over Montreal Impact in Major League Soccer action.

Since he was acquired from the Vancouver Whitecaps in late March, Manneh has been unable to make his mark for his new team, struggling to convince Gregg Berhalter to give him meaningful minutes and logging less than 250 in four appearances thus far.

Yusupha Njie joins Boavista on loan

Portuguese club Boavista have completed the signing of Gambia attacker Yusupha Njie on loan from Moroccan side FUS de Rabat. The 23-year-old former Real de Banjul winger joins the Porto-based club on a one-year loan, with an option of a three-year permanent contract should he impress manager Miguel Leal.
