Sowe secures Bulgaria loan

Gambia striker Ali Sowe has left Chievo Verona to join Bulgarian giants CSKA Sofia on a season-long loan.

The 24-year-old, whose contract with the parent Italian club ends at the end of the season, secured the move on deadline day in Bulgaria

WAFU SG reacts to GFF

Jammeh EK Bojang, the secretary general of the West African Football Union (WAFU) Zone A, has reacted to a recent press statement from the Gambia Football Federation, GFF, on the debacle that befell the Gambia national Under-17 team in the going championship in Dakar, Senegal.

The Gambia held visiting Algeria to a 1-1 draw in match day two of their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations Group D qualifier played at the Independence Stadium in Bakau on Saturday.
