Manneh’s future unclear after Germany trial

Former Steve Biko prodigy forward Kekuta Manneh has returned from a trial with German 2. Bundesliga side FC Union Berlin without a contract in place with his future still unclear.

Union Berlin had been tracking the 22-year-old for a while with the club viewing him as a real prospect as the Bakau-born travelled to Germany with the intention of completing a move.

Liberian International Shipping & Corporate Registry FC’s Gambian defender Arona Jabang says he is confident that the Gardnersville-based club will see off Sudanese giants Al Hilal Omdurman in the preliminary round of their 2018 CAF Champions League qualifier clash.

Ebrima Sohna offer support to Salahudeen Islamic Institute

Gambia midfielder Ebrima Sohna has pledged to support the Salahudeen Islamic Institute by beginning the construction of three classrooms for the school located in New Yundum.

The Scorpion international, who is currently on vacation after ending the season in the Finnish Veikkausliiga with Vaasan Palloseura, paid a visit to the institute at the weekend where he received first-hand information about the school and their constraints before pledging the building of three classrooms, constructions of which is already underway.

Gambia forward Alagie Sosseh is in the Southeast Asian country of Malaysia trying out with second-tier side Sabah Football Association.

The veteran left-sided attacker was on a scoring revival last season in the Swedish third-tier where he became the highest scoring African and the third on the ranking table with fifteen goals.
