Steve Trawally leaves Yanbian for Guizhou

Chinese Super League club Guizhou Hengfeng have completed the signing of Gambia international Bubacarr ‘Steve’ Trawally from relegated side Yanbian Funde.

The 23-year-old penned the dotted lines on a long-term deal with Guizhou to end his two-and-a-half year stay at Yanbian.

Red Bulls release Muhamed Keita

Gambian forward Muhamed Keita has been release from his contract with the New York Red Bulls seven months after he joined the Major League Soccer club.

Keita moved to the MLS after spending the majority of his career in Norway with Strømsgodset before moving to Polish side Lech Poznań in 2014.

Gambia to play Kenya friendly

The Scorpions of Gambia will play against the Harambee Stars of Kenya in an international friendly match to be played in Morocco next month.

The Harambee Stars face the Scorpions in Rabat in March 26, two days after Gambia play host to the Central African Republic at the Independence Stadium in Bakau.

Muzzy nets first Ipswich goal

Gambia winger Mustapha Carayol scored the only goal of the game on his first start for Ipswich Town to secure a win for them at Preston North End.

The Scorpions international, signed in January on a contract until the end of the season, made his first start against Preston and marked his full debut with a goal, while his all-round performance was also impressive.
