Gamtel win Gambian league title

Telecom giants Gamtel/Gamcel Football Club are champions of GFF domestic 2017/18 League Season after they beat Steve Biko by a goal to nil to confirm their superiority at the domestic level.

With two match days to go, Gamtel could have waited until the penultimate or down the wire if closest challengers Real De Banjul had closed the gap by beating GPA at Tuesday night fixture. Ports Authority then refused to bow down and narrowly won Real one nil while results from Sere Kunda East confirmed Gamtel’s win over Biko and thus claiming their title-ship  of the 2017/18 League Season.
