Barrow nets as Reading winless home streak goes on

Gambia forward Modou Barrow scored his ninth goal of the campaign for Championship strugglers Reading who were held to a 1-1 draw by Bolton Wanderers at Madejski Stadium to extend their winless home streak to eight games on Tuesday evening.

Reading, now without a win in eight home matches, went ahead shortly after the half-hour mark through Mo Barrow. The Scorpions wideman made a brilliant solo run to finish from the left wing but Bolton drew level just before the interval.

Beck Jallow nets eleventh for the season

Lamin Jallow’s eleventh goal of the season was enough to hand Cesena their second win in five matches after a 2-1 victory at promotion-chasing Spezia on Saturday.

The Scorpions attacker, starring his 25th match of the campaign, handed the winner to Cesena who were tied 1-1 at the break.

Sowe nets brace as Skënderbeu extend lead

Scorpions attacker Ali Sowe continued his revival for on-loan Skënderbeu Korçë as he scored twice in their 4-0 home win over KF Laçi to extend their lead at the top of the Albanian Superliga.

The 23-year-old, who netted a brace in Skënderbeu’s 2-2 draw at FK Kukësi on Wednesday, made it a quadruple of goals in four days as the leaders made it 14 points clear at the top of the Albanian league after 23 outings.
