Jatta attracts Admira Wacker interest

Gambian striker Alassana Jatta is in demand as he is attracting interest from a host of European clubs with Austrian Bundesliga side FC Admira Wacker Mödling the latest to express their interest.

The 20-year-old, who attracted interested from Portuguese giants FC Porto last month, is enjoying a tremendous first season in Europe with Estonian Meistriliiga club Paide Linnameeskond since joining them in January.

The on-loan Real de Banjul forward scored thirteen leagues goals in fifteen appearances to fire Paide to third on the league standings with 40 points after 20 matches.

It is a remarkable run of form for Jatta who was voted Player of the Month for June. Not surprisingly his displays have piqued the attention of clubs like Admira Wacker, nine-time Austrian champions, who have placed an audacious bid for him.

Jatta’s teammate and countryman, Muhammed Sanneh, is also attracting interest from an unnamed Finnish Veikkausliiga club.

The versatile defender has put up strong performances and featured in all but two of the club’s 20 league matches.
