Pa Dibba opens Shenxin account

Striker Pa Amat Dibba opened his Shanghai Shenxin goal scoring account in the club’s 4-1 home loss to Changchun Yatai in the Chinese League One.

The Scorpions international, who left Chinese Super League side Shenzhen FC to join second-tier club Shanghai Shenxin on loan until the end of the season in February, opened the scores at the Jinshan Football Stadium but the home side failed to hold on their advantage after Yatai fired four unanswered goals.

The 31-year-old was sent on loan to Shenxin after a disappointing campaign with Shenzhen where he featured only once for the club with his only appearance coming in a 1-0 defeat at Heilongjiang Lava Spring on 28 July.

The Gambia forward is the club’s only foreign player for the club currently occupying the bottom place in the Chinese second-tier.
