Spain return for Ousman Jarju

Gambia and former Atlético Madrid striker Ousman Jarju has returned to Spain to sign for Tercera División side Club Atlético de Pinto on a one-year contract, Gambia Sports can confirm.

The former Gambia U20 wonder-kidkid left Finnish third-tier club Kotkan Työväen Palloilijat (KTP) after scoring nine goals in 19 appearances last season to return to Spain where his career kicked off.

The 27-year-old became the first Gambian to have signed for La Liga giants Atlético Madrid before his release by the club in 2011.

The Sukuta-born striker is now trying to revive his career by joining CA Pinto who currently lie 11th in the Spanish fourth-tier.
