KYM, as fondly called, was Secretary General of the then GFA from 1991-1993 under former President Babou Ceesay.

He was also the first Secretary General from the Provinces heralding a Regional representation of Football in the Gambia.

Kebba is credited for his Clarion call for all inclusiveness of general stakeholder participation hence his doctrine of decentralization of Gambian Football.

During his reign as SG at the Football House, the first seminar on club management just about to kick off when former government Youth and Sports Minister Buba Baldeh dissolved the ExCO and stagnated his efforts to continue the management policies he spearheaded.

From the Schools hence his background as a former teacher, KYM was a strong campaigner for School Football hence according to him, talents are abound at the schools which could be the future of Gambian Football.

Born in Kesser Kunda in the Lower Fulladu West, KYM and family later moved to Janjangbureh where he lived a longer sojourn before he would finally abode to Latrikunda Sabiji. He is a grand son of Musa Molloh and prides himself of an ex-Armitage pupil.

The President of the Gambia Football Federation Lamin Kaba Bajo, says Gambian Football has lost another beacon in Kebba Yerro Manneh.

“KYM was another trail blazer in Football administration and has contributed massively to where we found ourselves in Football today.”

Kaba prayed for the departed soul to rest in Peace.
