Two Gambian players in Waasland-Beveren trial

Gambian duo Muhamed Kaba and Salifu Krubally are currently in Belgium undergoing trials with top-tier club Waasland-Beveren, Gambia Sports can exclusively reveal.

The duo are on trial with the East Flanders-based club until the end of the season, according to Belgian news outlet, Voetbal België.

Muhamed Kaba is a midfield kingpin who plays for the Gambia Ports Authority while defender Salifu Krubally is the current long-serving player at Real de Banjul.

Waasland-Beveren are looking for reinforcements after a disappointing campaign this season that has seen the sacking of their manager Sven Vermant after their 8-0 thrashing at Zulte-Waregem last weekend.

They finished the regular season at 12th position and currently occupy the bottom-place in the six-team UEFA Europa League Play-offs standings.

They will hope to finish their season on a high when they host KV Kortrijk on the final match day this Friday.
