Ebrima Sohna complete Salahudeen Islamic Institute project

Construction at the Salahudeen Islamic Institute financed by Gambia midfielder Ebrima Sohna has been completed, Gambia Sports can reveal.

The Keşla FK player, who in December paid a visit to the institute to receive first-hand information about the school and their constraints before pledging to build three new classrooms, fulfilled his promise to the New Yundum community after completion of the project.

“I am happy that the construction at the Islamic Institute has finished and I hope the children around the area can now go through their education in a conducive environment,” Sohna told Gambia Sports from his base in Azerbaijan.

Sohna, who is kind-hearted and also known for giving back to communities, promised that this is only one of the charitable works he will be undertaking as he plans to give back to needy communities around the country.

Salahudeen Islamic Institute’s vision is “to produce students with high qualification in Islamic studies, culture and career” as well as creating “different opportunity and domains for meaningful contribution for the service of the society”.
