Jallow nets brace for fifth league goal

Scorpions attacker Lamin Jallow nabbed a brace for AC Cesena in their 2-2 draw at Virtus Entella in the Italian Serie B.

Cesena, bottom on the Italian second-tier league table, opened the scoring through the Gambia international who fired in a brace in the 6 and 35 minutes respectively but a faltering defence from the away side ensured Virtus claw back to secure a draw.

The goals were Jallow’s fifth for the season after 10 matches since moving to Cesena on loan from Serie A side Chievo Verona in the summer.

Elsewhere, striker Assan Ceesay also netted a brace for Swiss second-tier side FC Chiasso who secured a 3-2 win at bottom-club FC Wil.

It was the attacker, dubbed Torres, sixth goal of the campaign after 13 matches.
